Stockbridge battle for an entertaining point at champions elect Liphook.

Stockbridge were denied an impressive win at Liphook by a 90th minute penalty as the two sides drew 3-3 on an entertaining afternoon at Liphook Recreation Ground.

The home side took the lead 12 minutes in with a flicked on corner being powerfully driven home by Tom Bedford.

Stockbridge then replied ten minutes later when Reece Daly capitalised on the goalkeeper spilling a corner to force home the ball just across the line in the eyes of the referee. Moments later a double save from Kieran Wilson kept the scored at 1-1 heading into the break.

HT 1-1

Liphook retook the lead on 57 minutes when a short backpass put Wilson in trouble, he then saved a one-on-one before the lose ball was squeezed home by Billy Allcock despite Sam Scannelli's best efforts on the line.

The Robins never gave up and equalised just after through a neat Josh Graham finish just after the hour mark. They then looked like they had scored the winner with 15 minutes to go when substitute Lewis Price-Lloyd tucked away a rebound.

it wasn't to be, however, as Sam Scannelli was adjudged to have tripped Allcock in the box in added time. Henry Smith stepped up and sent Wilson the wrong way to ensure the spoils were shared.

FT: 3-3

Next up the Robins travel to Sway on April 13th for a 3:00PM kick off.
